I met Audrey (@homerunballerina) about 20 years ago while working at a brunch restaurant together. I have wanted to take pictures of her in her gorgeous Connecticut home since the minute I saw pictures of it.

Audrey is one of the most creative, vibrant, and kind women I know, and her eye for color, patterns, design, painting and fashion is out of this world! She did all the stencils, painting, wallpaper, etc. herself, and I am just in love with it. I was fortunate enough to spend a night and day at her house, falling in love with her children, and following them around the house, and catching up with my sweet friend. We had a blast!

Did I mention she also owns a restaurant (@blackberryriverbistro) with her husband who was unfortunately out of town in a fishing tournament when we did this shoot? So just add incredible baker and cook to her list of talents.
